My name is Astra; I am the founder of Cody's Dog Tales. We are embarking on this venture driven by a lifelong passion for dogs and a commitment to providing exceptional pet care.
My journey to starting this dog walking business began in childhood; I have grown up surrounded by dogs and understand the unique bond pet owners share with their companions. My nearly 10-year-old dog, Cody, continues to fuel my love for dog walking and keeps me active and engaged with the joys of pet ownership every single day.
My primary motivation is to create a business that I am genuinely passionate about, allowing me to wake up every morning excited about my work. I thrive on meeting new doggos and their owners and look forward to them becoming an extension of my own dog-loving family.
We take a personalised approach to dog walking and pet care. Understanding that every dog is unique, we cater to their individual needs and preferences. That's why we collaborate with you to create a customised care plan for your furry friend, including our convenient pop-in services.
Our dog walking services will include solo walks for dogs needing individual attention, group walks for socialisation opportunities, standard lead walks, and off-lead country walks for suitable dogs. Additionally, we offer convenient pop-in services for let-outs, dog enrichment, administering medication, or simply providing company for your pet.
Our primary service area for dog walking, with no extra charge, includes Lyminge and surrounding areas. Please make contact if you are unsure if we cover your area.
** We provide a convenient door-to-door dog walking service, picking up your dog for their scheduled walk and safely dropping them off afterward. The time spent on transportation, including securing them in our equipped vehicle, is complimentary. Your booked time is dedicated purely to your dog's exercise, ensuring they receive the full benefit of the dog walking service you purchased **
At Cody's Dog tales we are fully insured, DBS checked, and Canine first Aid trained.
Our dog walking services will include solo walks for dogs requiring individual attention, as well as group walks that provide valuable socialisation opportunities. Additionally, we offer standard lead walks and off-lead country walks for suitable dogs, ensuring comprehensive pet care. We also provide convenient pop-in services for your furry friends.
We offer a variety of pet care services, including, administering medication, dog enrichment or simply providing company through our pop-in services. We also offer drop-ins for cats, pups, and small animals. We treat your family like our own.

This dog walking service agreement includes a clear cancellation policy to manage scheduling and revenue stability for our pet care services. Clients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellation. Cancellations made with 48 hours' notice will receive a 50% refund or credit towards future dog walking or pop-in services. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged the full amount.
